The Safe, Clean Water Program will provide local, dedicated funding to increase local water supply, improve water quality, and protect public health in Los Angeles County. The Program will generate up to $300 million per year from a special parcel tax of 2.5 cents per square foot of impermeable surface area on private property within the LA County Flood Control District.
The Public Review Open House will include an overview of the current Program status and documents related to the implementation ordinance that are available for public review. Join us to learn more about the next steps for implementing the Program and specific program elements including: project scoring, watershed coordinators, low-income senior exemptions, credits, appeals, and governance.
